happy scrappy sat chickies!

here's my tag for this week's challenge over at ~ Tag You're It ~. yeppers the theme is *diamonds are a girls best friend*..well ~ who doesn't love bling and diamonds. that's my interpretation. i took a pic of a canvas painting our 18 yr old dd did ~ yepperz ~ that's the background of my tag. how kewl is that ~ you should see the painting IRL ~ whoa..gorgeous stuff! so. anyhoo i printed out a pic of the painting onto a peice of cs ~ added some flowers, some bling, some stickles and a few butterflies. i'm giving her the tag ~ cause she also gave me that beautiful silk scarf she made ~ and it'll be a lil *thankx to her*. she handpainted it..isn't it gorgeous. thanks again ladies at TYI for another fabulous challenge. also, i just got an email from ~ 2cre8art ~ ~ i won this month's challenge (fabric quiltie) ~ what a wonderful surprise ~ along with the email i received some absolutely scrapalicious vintage collage sheets ~ can't wait to get playing with those. i totally love the challenges there, too ~ they have a different technique challenge once a month ~ check it out chickies ~ you'll love it.

happy scrappin monday chickies! 1st off i'd like to thank the dt from TYI and karen from funky kits. i won a set of sugar nellie stamps for doing last weeks challenge over at ~ Tag You're It ~ how kewl is that! i can't wait to receive the stamps and get scrappin happy. and thankx to all the participants for the lovely compliments. you rawk. that's my tag for this weeks challenge ~ which is to create a tag using circles and swirls.i spritzed the background with green and brown glimmer mist then used a ~ Layers of Color ~ flourish stamp on the background ~ painted some chipboard circles black, then stamped an LOC flourish stamp (white) on them and distressed them with metacllic. her flower hat was handcut and i added some stickles for a final touch. great challenge as always ladies. also, i was doing an online crop over at lil scrappers this weekend. whoa ~ lots of great inspriation and goodies over there. i created that lil box for one of the challenges ~ thankx michy for the inspiration. well, that's my scrappy goodies for today ~ i'm off to make some homemade chicken noodle soup. have a great day chickies! ta! ta!

whoa ~ didn't think i'd get this challenge done. yepperz

~ 2cre8art ~ has a challenge going on this month ~ creating a *fabric quiltie*. ok, this is totally out of my box. i've never ever ever created something like this before ~ and i gotta tell ya ~ whoa ~ i absolutely enjoyed it and will definitely be trying this again. everything on the quiltie is stitched. nope ~ no paper products on this one and no adhesive. the picture (and no..that's not me) was printed onto the fabric. yep ~ i put it through the printer! ACK ~ that was a lil tricky. all stitching is either machine stitched or hand stitched, as was the beads. the wings (from layers of color) were stamped, cut and handstitched. if ya get a chance chickies check out the challenges over there ~ sure does get ya thinkin *out of the box*. well ~ i'm over and out ~ i'm venturing out in that gorgeous sunshine today and takin my camera with me ~ ah..maybe i'll even get some pics! hugz

happy scrappy sunday chickies! hope everyone had a wonderful valentine's day. i certaily did. dh and i spent the day together ~ had a great sup ~ watched some movies and well ~ just spent the day enjoying each others company. that's the tag i've made for

~ Tag You're It ~ challenge this week. and yep ~ it's all about love and romance. that's an edited and handcut pic of my dh on the tag ~ i did that through *befunky.com*. (the hair does curl at the tips to give a 3D effect.) he's definitely my valentine. the background is spritzed with glimmer mist and stamped. i added some rubon flowers ~ stamped, and hancut the title and birds ~ and put on ribbon and flowers around the border for an added touch. the valentine's layout i did up was for my sweet dh for valentine's day. yepperz ~ lot of little embellies on that one. the hearts and the word *heart* are done with stamps from

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY to everyone! not sure if i'll be online tomorrow ~ gonna be spending some speshal time with my dh. hope you chickie's have a great V-day and get spoiled rotten.

i did this layout for laura and her sweetie (mark) ~ happy V-Day to a speshal couple! i hand cut the flower design for placement ~ the heart framing is stamped with a ~ Layers of Color ~ stamp, spritzed with glimmer mist and handcut, as was the birds. there is rows of pearl dots on the layout..ACK ~ just can't get it to show up with the camera. the ribbon has black stickles dots for an added touch, as do the letterz in the title. enjoy my friends!

~ mojo madness ~

yepperz ~ my mojo has been workin! whohoo! i often wonder where it goes sometimes. anyhoo ~ i've done up a few projects. oh ~ and sorry for the not so good pics ~ i'm still working at the settings on this new camera of mine ~ and just can't seem to get it quite yet ~ so bare with me. the 1st one is a tag for the challenge over at ~ Tag You're It ~ . the challenge is based on a sketch. that's my take on it. 2nd is a button doll. i love makin those lil things ~ they're such a fun lil project. the background behind the image was stamped and spritzed with a turquoise glimmer mist ~ as was the wings. wuv those wings. yepperz they shimmer and shine. i did the layout for a friend of mine ~ whoa ~ she's one happy camper! the flowers, leaves and birds were stamped, and handcut. the birds have a spritz of olive green glimmer mist on them. the flowers were also watercolored and have a touch of pink stickles on them. i've added pearl dots to the centre of each flower ~ and two pearl dots for the buttons on her blouse. on all three project i have used ~ Layers of Color ~ stamps. yep ~ that laura chickie has some rawkin goodies over there. well ~ that's my scrappy goodies for today ~ hope you chickies have a rawkin scrappy happy day! hugz
